Life update

Hello out there,

I know. I disappeared for a long time.. I wont even try to make excuses here.. Lets just say life got crazy.

Updates~
♥ We bought a house. I would love to share a few pictures in the next few weeks.
♥ I tried to keep up with inktober this year. I was actually so excited about starting this year, that I was ready and had my supplies sorted by September in preparation.. but anxiety stopped me unexpectedly in my tracks, and put everything on hold. I am trying to draw once a day, but I've decide not to stress myself out if I don/t manage. If you are also taking part, just know that its okay to miss a few days, it doesn't mean you are a failure. Inktober is supposed to be fun for you.
♥ I have a few designs in the works for my society6 store. So if your interested at all, please feel free to follow me. I have recently added a sailor moon design.
♥ I am still working full time. So its hard to keep to a schedule but I do want to be more active here, because I love looking back. One day I can look through all these blog posts and enjoy the memories. So hopefully more blog posts coming. Stay tuned!
♥ In my spare time I have been watching a lot of youtube and overwatch switch streams. So I think I might try giving both youtube and streaming a go in the future. I did attempt to shoot a sketchbook tour video and failed miserably!! I have a new found respect for creators, especially the ones who post daily!
♥ I would also like to try and bring back "Doodle of the week". I quite liked that segment in this blog.
♥ I am so excited about halloween. I have my costume all sorted which I pieced together myself. I am going as the officer DVA skin from overwatch.

I hope I can do all of this.. ahhahaa (Thats me awkward "you can't do this" laugh) >u<

And this is just a question for you. Is tumblr dead? I feel like it might be dead... All the awesome people I used to follow are GONE. If you have tumblr you would like to share please feel free to do so below. I would love to take a peak! ;v;

Doodle of the Week

Drawing so much these days, all thanks to Inktober. I had so much fun with Inktober that I find myself doodling most days.
Let me know if you like me sharing these doodles every now and again. If you have any better names for this let me know.. Not sure "Doodle of the week" is very inventive.

I've really enjoyed just using a simple coloured pencil for sketching these days. I haven't touched a led pencil in months now!
If your interested I use Reeves coloured pencils.
I'm too scared to ink this THE FEAR IS REAL!
So I will just leave it as it is :P and maybe I will bring it into photoshop and make a digital drawing from it... we shall see.

Merry Christmas Everybunny

Not long to go till Christmas now. How crazy that 2015 is almost over. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was writing in my blog about Christmas 2014. This year has flown by like the millennium falcon in hyperspace! (Like that one?... *Winks*)

I just wanted to take a moment to say Merry Christmas, and thank you for following my blog.. and I guess.. say sorry for my lack of posts. I plan to work a little harder to produce more content this year. Anyway I hope you are enjoying the Christmas season, and are with family, friends and loved ones this year. I have Christmas eve off this year! I'm not feeling super Christmasy..... yet, however I plan to get my Christmas ON very soon, gonna stuff myself with mince pies, cram as many Christmas movies on Christmas eve as possible and listen to all the Christmas music as I can! I'm sure my husband will appreciate it (He's a bit of a Grinch).

Anyway, I had a mini Christmas photoshoot with Bella. Just want to mention, taking pictures of a hopping Bunny is pretty damn hard work! These couple of pics, took ages to get, but it was worth it.

Where's mai presentz!?

Dis for eatz?

Just waiting for Santa..

Mum, I can smell Christmas!

October Summery

♥ This year I actually took part in Inktober, which is where you draw in ink each day for the whole month of October. It was taxing... I'm not going to lie. After a couple of days in I was so over it. But I kept at it! I only missed one or two days. I have included my favorite two drawings above.
♥ I really do love Autumn, such a pretty time of year. All the leaves changing colour and the chillier weather, allowing me to wear nice woolen jumpers and scarfs.
♥ A HUGE note I would like to mention. I feel like I have seriously made an improvement with my anxiety. I haven't had a panic attack in over 6 months! I'm able to stay in my home alone and be fine.

Today Summery: Tuesday

♥ Today was not the best weather, it rained a whole lot and I haven't seen the sun peak its heads out in what feels like forever. If you don't know from reading my blog by now, Britain doesn't get the best weather and its traditional to moan about this. Come join me...
♥ I was treated to both a wagamama lunch and a new lippy from mac. I don't think they make the best combo especially since, I tend to make a complete mess while eating. Safe to say the lipstick needed re-applied.
♥ I adore walking about the City of Glasgow because its such a modern city with a historic feel. I walked past this amazing street art of Frankenstein after lunch. I am a huge Frankenstein fan, so I slightly freaked out and demanded my husband stand in the rain to take a photo of me. I wish I knew the artist who painted this, as I'd love to tell him/her how much I admire this piece.
♥ Feeling slightly anxious today, but trying my best to keep my brain occupied so I don't notice..

How was your Tuesday?

April Favorites

Its finally time, and for once I'm actually on time to do one of these posts!
So bare with me cause this is my first.

Benefit's Watt's up highlighter
So i usually use either a powder or liquid highlighter, I have NEVER used a stick formula :/ It does blend in well surprisingly. Only thing I don't like about this is the weird sponge you can see in the picture?... Maybe its totally obvious but I have no idea what the purpose of this is lol

So this is what it looks like on my skin, its rather subtle. On the cheekbones etc it looks so luminous, which is obviously what you want in a highlighter.

Essie: cute as a button
Such a me shade! Its deep, coral pink.
I am a huge fan of Essie nail polishes, simply because they are good quality. However I will advise if you have never bought an Essie polish, you NEED to use a topcoat, if you don't they will chip instantly.
The good points of this brand,is that it applies streak free. You will only ever need two coats no matter what shade you use, even pastel! And the main and most important reason I love Essie, is that once you apply your polish to you nail it remains super shiny.

Rimmel Provocalips: I'll Call You
So this is a new concept! I have never come across anything like this before.
Basically you have the super pigmented colour on one side, and a balm on the other with a doe foot applicators.
Rimmel promise a 16 Hr kiss proof lip colour with these bad boys, to be honest you do need to reapply the balm a couple of times a day otherwise your lips get superrrr dry, but the ITS TRUE the color does actually stay put all day long, in fact I tried rubbing these off at the end of the day, and eh.. lets just say I didn't look attractive.
This does what it says on the tin ladies!

So this is the colour, without the balm, its super rosy and cute.

I got this in a gift box a while ago, and only started using it now. It is really good to sooth my dry skin after shaving, its so natural smelling.

Victoria Secret: Love Spell
hahaha I feel almost ashamed to tell you this... I bought this on ebay..
*waits for things to be thrown at me*
I know...
But I wanted it *sobs* It does smell sooooooooo amazing. I love it!

On a side note, It snowed today. Its SPRING!
Scotland has weird weather...
I should be used to this, but I'm not... Its just weird.
Weather go home your drunk!

That is all!

Happy Easter Everybun!

Happy Easter Everybunny!

It's Easter Sunday so naturally I thought it would be fun, to take a little photoshoot with my bunny Bella.

Let me first just start off by saying.. Bunnies are difficult to take good photos of cause they never keep stil!  However I managed to get a few cute ones that weren't blurry and unusable.

Mm can I eat this mummy?..

Bella has such a little personality. My friends say she's like having a dog, and in a way she kind of is! Bunnies can be hugely Affectionate. She enjoys jumping up on the couch next to me, giving me bunny kisses, binkying about our living room rug, and following me about the house.

I didn't make these.. Did I?

Don't get me wrong bunnies are not as easy to look after as a dog or cat. They need to be well looked after. They are a 10 year commitment.

I just think it's important that anyone with a bunny stresses the importance that Bunnies are not just for Easter. They are a 10 year commitment. Enjoy your Easter Everybun.

A Real Wedding Story

Well.. the big day came and went.
I married the love of my life on the 28th of March 2015. I wish it I could say the day was like a
fairy tail.. but it wasn't quite that.
I don't think anyone quite prepares you for this day. We watch movies and expect our day to be so perfect.

Well.. I had a pretty small wedding. 36 guests invited. It was such a frantic day, I barely had time to think or talk. I got up and that was it.. full steam ahead. The entire day consisted of running about frantically.
I had planned to get ready at the dressing room provided to us by the registry office on the day. However due to weddings overlapping, was told we could not use the room.
This meant I had to run home, and get ready in 30 minutes.. 30 minutes to do my makeup, get in my dress... everything. Luckily I was trained in the art of fast makeup application, or things could have been tricky!
I didn't think it was possible, but me and my bridesmaids did it.
However one of my poor bridesmaids, who was meeting us at the registry office, had to be escorted to the nearest shopping center bathroom to get herself and my flower girl ready. Suddenly more guests than had been invited arrived, so a few were left standing as I entered the room ready to walk down the isle.

I now became blotchy around my neck and arms as I heard my wedding song start to play... This is what happens to me when I am nervous. I would like to tell you that it was barely noticeable.. but that would be a lie.
I have never experienced nerves such as this.. I couldn't breath half the day.
As it came to the part were we had to repeat our vows to one another, I started to develop an uncontrollable twitch in my lip, this made things hard especially to smile and talk. I cant imagine what people must have thought seeing me stand up there.
The best part was kissing... It was a magical moment for many reasons. Most of all the happiness of knowing I could run out the door!

I am also so lucky that I had an amazing photographer, who, as if by magic made me look incredible on my big day, no blotches, no scary face.. just lots of smiles captured by everyone invited.
It was the best day of my life, not down to how the day panned out but, because I got to marry my best friend and sole mate. He was worth it all.. all the stress, everything!
I am so happy to be Mrs O'Connor.

Happy New Years! :Goal setting and Resolutions

Happy New year everyone!

I spent my new years rolled up in bed with the cold watching TV. It was actually quite refreshing to just be at home just me and my fiance for once, rather than go to a party like we usually would.

I am not the type of person who believes you need to make resolutions for the new year, but creating small reasonable goals is fun. Its nice to think of the year as a fresh new start, and so I do usually try to have goals I would like to accomplish each year.

One of my goals for 2014 was to set a date for my wedding
which I did do.
I have been engaged for a little over 5 years. So I am happy to finally be making plans for my wedding day.

Another one of my goals I accomplished was to join a gym.
This one was a hard one to keep up with, and I feel I could have done better and went to the gym more, and ate a lot more healthily, but I am half way to reaching this goal and it will remain a goal for 2015.

This year I am going to be tougher on myself. My goals are going to be harder to accomplish but I know I can do it.

For 2015 my main goal is to push past my panic and anxiety issues. I have one huge trigger for panic attacks and that's the one I'm going to focus on. Hopefully in 2016 I can say I accomplished my goal and defeated this.
2014 hasn't been the hardest year for my anxiety, I have improved a lot since 2013 (My toughest year) So already I can say I have beaten a lot of what used to trigger panic attacks. If I can do that, just think what I can accomplish this year!

What I got for Christmas: Zoella signed my book

Well that's Christmas over, and 2015 has just began.

2015 is promising to be a very exciting year! I have a lot to look forward to. 2015 is the year I get married, and hopefully go on honeymoon to France and Disney Land.
Its a huge milestone that I am really excited about.
I honestly never thought the day would come.

Christmas day was spent with family, and I feel so blessed for all I have and the gifts I received, big and small.

Happy New year to you all, May 2015 be filled with lots of happy memories!

Obsessed with this scent.
Its very inexpensive but I find Beyonce' Heat to be very unique. I haven't smelt anything like it.
I can't say I care much for Beyonce', don't hate me!
I now own two bottles of this stuff. Thanks Santa.

Red Brick is amazing in the crease with a shimmery brown shade on the lid.
Plum dressing is an absolutely gorgeous shimmery metallic purple.
Mac eye shadows truly are as good as everyone says it is, and worth every penny!

Ohh yes I was a lucky girl!
More Mac!
Rebel is such a gorgeous shade, no wonder its a favorite with mac lovers. Super pigmented! Just look at that colour.
I also got pink nouveau, which was one my fiance picked out. Its stunning! Both these shades are just to die for!
Seriously if you don't own a mac lipstick, please get shopping.
I am in love!

Mac Lipstick:

Yup its true. This stuff is amazing! I didn't believe it. I didn't want to believe the hype.
Yes it is expensive for a mascara, but boy... the things you hear are true.
This is stuff is seriously amazing. I cannot praise it highly enough! It glides on, it separates all the lashes, and best part is,. it doesn't go all crusty and dried out on the lashes.
Its like magic!
I have had an issue for the longest time with mascaras. I have tried so many, all of them hurting my eyes and drying them out. This one is the only one I dont seem to be allergic to.
I HEART this stuff!

A wonderful gift from my lovely friend. She stood in a queue for hours waiting for Zoella to sign her book. I couldn't get a ticket to do the same because the tickets sold out so fast while I was in work.
I was so sad that I couldn't go with her and meet Zoella, but she was so sweet and got zoella to sign a book for me too!
